Premium for a call on 10 SOL of BONK

Pick a coin and a strike on the dial. If BONK closes above it at expiry, the call pays you the difference, up to 5% of the size in an hour or 20% in a day. If not, you lose only the premium.

How a call works

A call option is the right to buy a coin at a fixed price, the strike, until a set time, the expiry. On STRIKE every call is settled in SOL and backed by a vault, a pool of SOL that is locked before the call is sold, so nobody is ever liquidated.

1

Pick the coin, the strike and the expiry

The strike is how far above the price at the start of the hour or the day the coin has to go, from +0.5% to +10%. The expiry is the end of the hour or the end of the day, in UTC.

2

Pay the premium

The premium is the price of the call, sent from your wallet straight to the vault. It is the most you can lose. A strike far away is cheap, a strike close by costs more.

3

Get paid at expiry if the coin is above the strike

You receive the distance between the closing price and the strike, on the size you bought, up to 5% for an hour and 20% for a day. The vault holds that much back for every call it sells. At or below the strike, the call expires and the vault keeps the premium.

What a vault earned last week

The vault is the other side of every call: it takes in the premium, and pays out when a call ends above its strike. This replays the last seven days of real hourly prices for all six coins above, selling a 1 hour call at +1% every hour at the premium in the table. The three best are shown.
